in an effort to combat cabin fever, I dragged Mrs. iowaPete out with me last weekend to do a maintenance run on a series of caches I had placed. I realized that, while I was working hard to get all through the park, I was also really enjoying the effort.
I am craving another winter hike that might also net me a few smileys. I was hoping that the crack crew of cachers here might have some recommendations on places to try. I would love to find somewhere in the range of 3 to 10 caches, and have the hike last from 1 to 3 hours. Up and down terrain is fine. Lonnnnnng walk is fine. I just want to get out and push a little harder than usual.
Anybody have a thought or two? Oh, forgot to mention - it would be great if it's within a two-hour drive of Dubuque.
