Please remember, Camp Ingawanis is not your local state park.
Each tent area has a pit toilet and a water spigot, but not much else.
There are modern facilities located at the "main lodge" and at the two shower houses
(one in the NW near the pool, the other in the SE near the challenge course).
Here is more info about the camp.
Take a look at the map to see where the facilities are relative to
the different cabins and camp areas.
Most event activities will take place at, or start from, the Scoutcraft area near the East Gate.
All parking will be in the area near the East Gate.
You are encouraged to choose one of the campsites in that part of camp.
Camp Rules
As Camp Ingawanis is a BSA facility, there are some additional rules that everyone
needs to be aware of. These rules apply to everyone entering camp property.
Driving within camp will be kept to a minimum, and all vehicles
be parked in the designated locations (near the east gate).
Personal vehicles will only be allowed within camp for loading and
unloading of gear.
In the event camp roads are too muddy for travel, arrangements will be
made for camp staff to transport gear from the parking lot to the camp areas.
Exceptions will be made for medical reasons.
Contact the camp director when you arrive for rules and a window sign.
These restrictions apply primarily to people using the tent areas or cabins.
RV camping and vehicle parking are in the same area so RV campers will
already be able to park near their site.
The speed limit in camp is 10mph.
Remember, there will be lots of kids around.
As a BSA facility, alcohol is not permitted in camp.
Camp directors will not necessarily be looking for violations of this rule, but
will not tolerate them if found.
Firearms, fireworks and illegal substances of any kind are not permitted in camp.
