OK, as of July 2010 the web site has a new data type: Land Manager.
Those of you who are BOD members (you know who you are) should have the ability to add/edit land manager data for the site now. To add a land manager just click "Create Content" and select "Land Manager", then fill in the blanks.

This evening the new IGO BOD met online to select 4 from their own ranks to serve as Board Executives. The results of this process are now shown on the updated IGO Board of Directors page at http://iowageocachers.org/content/board-directors.
Congratulations to the new execs and Thank You to past executives for their service.
The ability to update any "autocomplete" fields (these appear as input/field boxes with gray circles near the right edge) is currently broken due to a bug in the system. This is not likely to impact many users, but does mean that you won't be able to "easily" update things like your "Cache Favorites" for the time being.
If you know you have a valid web site (and forums) account here but can't log in to the web site there are a couple things you should do.
Note: Some users have experienced inability to login when in fact they ARE logged in...sometimes 5 or 6 times simultaneously! If the site returns no errors but keeps prompting you to login then you ALMOST CERTAINLY need to clear you cookes and browser cache... see items 1 and 2 below.
IGO's annual BOD election has officially closed and you have selected 4 BOD members. We had a tie for 4th and, per the IGO bylaws, that tie was broken by a majority vote of the current BOD members.
