Land Manager Relations Committee
Objective: To help maintain strong relations with the land managers in the State of Iowa, including the Iowa DNR, County Conservation Boards, City Parks and Recreation Departments, US Army Corps of Engineers, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Goals:
- To compile information on all geocaching policies for the IGO web site.
- To answer the questions of land managers and assist them in developing sound and fair geocaching policies.
- To assist in obtaining permission and remind geocachers of obtaining necessary permits.
Who Should sign up? - Anyone with good communication skills who is willing to help educate Land Managers and geocachers about our sport.
Hopefully committee members are located in different area across the state, but that is not necessary.
