IGO MICRO-NEWSLETTER 2008
JUNE ISSUE #01

IGO BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION RESULTS
Written by the hand of Summitt Dweller:
The IGO Board of Directors would like to say Thank You to all the candidates
who ran for election to the BOD this year, and thanks also to the 104 IGO
members who took time to vote online.
The race was as tight as it could be with a tie for the 4th and 5th seats
and a very slim margin between 5th and 6th.
The 5 members elected to the new IGO BOD are (in no particular order):
The NVG (Scott M.)
SuperGoober (Jeff G.)
RedheadBasset (Angie B.)
bucknuts (Dale W.)
Parabola (Travis D.)
Congratulations to all.
These new members will join existing BOD members Blue Grass Tom (Tom H.),
boasark (Jan A.), welch (Nathan W.) and AB-n-AP (Sean P.).
The BOD meets online once each month (in a chat room provided by AmesCacher)
and any/all IGO members are welcome to "listen" in.
The BOD needs to meet in the next two weeks to elect officers from within
the BOD ranks. New BOD members and interested IGO members can contact
existing or past BOD members (including Summitt Dweller, fishpounder,
windchill and UNIBear) for instructions enabling connection to the IGO chat
room.

The initial IGO BOD meeting will occur at 7:00PM on Monday June 30th, 2008. We will be electing the executive committee during this time. All IGO members are welcome to view/listen to the online BOD meetings, but are asked to please only vew/listen and not join in the BOD conversation.
